Chicago's Medicine Hat combines roots-rock and Americana-infused rock, with a gritty attitude that fully emphasizes substance over style. In creating a sound occasionally reminiscent of the classic eras of major acts like CCR, The Drive-By Truckers, Wilco, and similar, more modern American-based outfits, the members of Medicine Hat have carved out their own singular niche, oblivious to trends or fads that fade away as soon as they appear.
